Sugar Should not be Subsidized

Is this anything but corrupt? Obesity, diabetes, corporate farming and refinement - is there anyone benefitting but investors?  Imagine if sweets were twice as expensive as they are now.  I think, like cigarettes, you'd have fewer people consuming them...
